About oil pumps and lubrication
The oil pump maintains an oil film between the engine’s working surfaces, reducing friction, wear and energy consumption. Driven by the crankshaft or camshaft, it continuously ensures the required oil pressure and flow in the system. The industry uses positive-displacement pumps, and Pobjeda Tešanj manufactures three types:
external gear pumps
internal gear pumps
gerotor pumps
External gear pumps
They use gears as working elements and operate by creating a vacuum in the suction chamber. They are simple, compact and offer high capacity. Pobjeda’s range covers capacities from 10 to 250 l/min at a pressure of 4 bar.
Internal gear pumps
They feature an efficient design and strong suction. They consist of a housing, an internal and an external gear, and a crescent-shaped segment that separates the suction and pressure chambers. They are available in various capacities depending on the application.
Gerotor pumps
They consist of a housing, an outer rotor ring and an inner rotor. They work by increasing the volume in the suction chamber and reducing it in the pressure chamber. Pobjeda uses 3/4, 4/5, 5/6 and 6/7 rotor sets, depending on the required capacity. Their main advantages are an efficient design and low-noise operation.
